Welcome to Lexington
Lexington is a neighbourhood on the east side of Waterloo, with good schools, lovely homes and lots of activities for the families that live there. It is in close proximity to many available jobs in the Waterloo region. The East side of Waterloo is home to RIM Park, a state-of-the-art indoor sports facility with four indoor rinks and two indoor fields. Lexington is also close to the Grey Silo Golf Course, an 18-hole public course.
Being so near Grand River, Lexington is popular with nature lovers, offering a lot of trails to explore on foot, snow shoe or cross-country skis. There’s plenty to do in the summer, too, with parks, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields available. Lexington is also convenient to the expressway, the popular shops, and restaurants in and around Conestoga Mall, while still feeling somewhat detached from the bustle of Waterloo.
Homes in Lexington range from older homes (30+ years old) to newer homes. The lots are spacious and the trees lining the streets are mature.
Public school children in Lexington attend Lexington Public School for grades K-6, before attending Margaret Avenue School for grades 7-8.
